OVERVIEW

These monumental glass screens reinterpret the language of the monolith, giving weight and presence while achieving a surprising sense of lightness. Crafted in a semi-translucent silvered finish, the glass takes on a shifting character—opaque enough to grant privacy yet radiant in its ability to transmit light.

Each panel is designed to pivot, allowing the user to choreograph between openness and enclosure. The movement is anchored by a hinge inspired by the monumental entry doors of the ancient Greek temple at Naxos, translating a timeless mechanism of strength and durability into a contemporary architectural element.

This adaptable movement transforms the screens from solid partitions into porous thresholds, offering a dynamic interplay between concealment and revelation. One screen is composed of two substantial glass sections, the other of three, together forming a balanced composition that feels at once monumental and ethereal.
