Originally owned by Spitzer development properties, this building sits on a compact footprint in the Upper East Side. We revitalized it with a fresh, inspired ambiance fitting of the multifaceted lives of the residents and of the surrounding neighborhood. We focused first on modernizing the lobby experience, rethinking how a contemporary lobby should function and feel in relation to the rich, ornate sensibility of the Upper East Side.
Key strategies included upgrading the space with a blend of lighting elements and refined materials to create a dynamic yet welcoming atmosphere. We also introduced large, new openings in the penthouse lounge. The floor-to-ceiling windows bring natural light deep into the amenity spaces, offering a sense of spaciousness and ease in a busy urban context.
